SeverCorr’s cold mill began production in early June, 2007. Designed to produce steels that reach exposed automotive quality levels the five-stand tandem mill from SMA Demag has a double-coiling station and in-line inspection capabilities. The cold mill is one of only four cold mills in the United States coupled with a pickle line and is the only one capable of producing coils up to 72” wide.
