The steel mill – with a state of the art melt shop, thin slab caster, 6 stand hot mill, cold mill and a hot-dip galvanizing/galvanealing line – serves a growing manufacturing infrastructure in the Southern United States. The facility is located in northeastern Mississippi, with easy access to both rail and Interstate truck routes for fast delivery to more than twelve targeted states. Less than two years after groundbreaking ceremonies, the first phase of the steel plant is operational with all primary lines in production.
SeverCorr was founded by a handful of steel industry veterans dedicated to creating a next-generation steel production facility.
When complete, the SeverCorr plant will produce 1.5 million tons of Hot Roll, Hot Roll P&O, Cold Roll and Hot Dip Galvanized/Galvanealed steels for a number of industries. Click here for more information
